RAF Museum interactive touchscreen kiosk and archive database

We were commissioned by the RAF Museum to convert a Flash application and thousands of Microsoft Word Documents and images into an interactive museum kiosk.
We built scrapers to read the Word documents and images into a structured, multi-field and category, editable WordPress database that would power the touch kiosks.
The design had to work specifically on the touchscreens, offline on a local network without a keyboard (we had to build an on screen one).
It contained an interactive map and searchable databases of aircraft, ships, people, squadrons and more.
We implemented a detailed on-device analytics system that allowed the museum to see how the devices were being used. After a year we were commissioned to make some user interface changes to the kiosks based on this data.
