Built around a brightly coloured interactive map matching a newly designed identity, the Crouch End Open Studios website and app are home to a directory of artists co-managed by the artists themselves, an application system and on the days of the open studios event itself a wayfinding system for visitors.

The aim was to build something as clean and simple as possible with its own identity, designed by the amazing Type Two, but not something that overpowers the art. A large tiled interface for navigating the directory of artists puts their artwork front and centre while the simple map allows navigation between different artists and their studios.

With a small budget and small team we knew we would have to build a system that can be built on without future work from us and we are proud of seeing it refresh every year with new artists and exhibitions.
