Our work is some of the most fascinating and rewarding in the industry: building online conservation technology communities, interfaces for anti-poaching camera traps and GPS turtle tags, maps of sharks, seals, seabirds and coral reefs, species databases for scientists, educational games and much more.

The ideal candidate will love HTML and CSS. We build lots of interactive maps and visualisations so JavaScript is important, but semantic, accessible HTML and CSS come first. When it comes to JavaScript, lightweight, browser-native code is always a first step before a large framework is considered.

An interest in user interface design is essential but we work with some great graphic and user experience designers so you would be spending more of the job in a code editor than in graphics software.

We’re a highly collaborative team of five so you’d have direct input into everything we do. You’d also be in regular direct conversation and collaboration with scientists, conservationists and charity-workers.

Being based with us in London would be best, but some remote work is possible and hours are flexible.

We try hard to keep our team as healthy and happy as possible so will give you as many holiday and rest days as you need. We’ll also pay for you to go to conferences and support you to learn new skills. We’re honest with clients about who does what on each project so your great work will be spotlighted and credited as much as possible.
